Big Loader

Did you know that for us to be able to do the different practices that we perform, we rely on our equipment to perform those tasks. Without those equipments our tasks would not be done. Our big loader is one of our bread and butter equipments here on our farm. It performs many tasks in an efficient way. The video below shows us loading our ripe finished Compost onto our spreader. This Compost will now be spread onto our pasture.

Regenerative Farm 1 skid steer

Did you know that we are a true regenerative farm. We value and respect all animals including their waste that we collect in their corrals and they naturally fertilize our fields. We created a system were we trained our goats and sheep to come on their own to sleep on our corrals. This allows for heavy concentration of manure to accumulate in one concentrated area. This concentrated area of manure gets cleaned up once there is a buildup of it. This manure is collected and placed in our compost piles that we have around the farm. The compost piles is the carbon that when it gets mixed with the manure creates what we call, black gold. We allow this Compost to age, we periodically turn the piles until it’s ripe compost. Once it’s ripe, we spread it out to our fields. This Compost feeds the microbes in our soil‘s and produce high nutrient dense forages, which are animals consume. That is how we can produce high quality 100% Pasture finished meats meats grown on Organic Soils.

Spreading 3

Did you know that we make and spread our home made nutrient dense organic fertilizer onto our pastures. We believe that we should organically feed the microbes in our soils with mostly inputs that come from our farm and as minimal organic inputs as possible that come from the outside. Being a regenerative farm we do our best that we utilize and respect everything that we grow. So we create systems to accomplish our beliefs. This not only benefits all aspects of our farm, but it’s our part of making this world a better place.
